[edit] True History of Christmas

http://www.history.com/minisite.do?content_type=Minisite_Generic&content_type_id=1253&display_order=1&sub_display_order=2&mini_id=1290 which is not the same one that Huey mentions. Although pointing out the true history of Christmas is useful, it is more detremental than good if it is done wrong.--X37 09:30, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

The historical accuracy of Huey’s account is irrelevant to the topic at hand. The only thing pertinent to the synopsis of this episode is that he delivered a version of the history of Christmas that was subsequently ignored by Granddad. Though the explanation may seem equivocal to some, this is an expected outcome, and it is not necessary or appropriate to contend the character’s argument in a setting such as this. This isn’t an article debating the history of Christmas; it is an article that explains the events of this episode.

I understand that, but then Huey's explination shouldn't be reffered to as "true", which is where the emphasis in my concern lay. To illustrate the point, if someone in something made a factual error and I was explaining what that someone said, I would not say that they said something was true.--X37 03:02, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Airdate?

The article itself says that it premiered on December 18th, but the box to the right sys it premiered on December 26th. Does anybody know which is correct? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ron Stoppable (talkcontribs) 22:55, 1 March 2007 (UTC).

Thanks for pointing this out. The correct date is the 18th.
