[edit] Brief Plot Synopsis
During the Holiday season, Bethlehem School goes under review by a stern school administrator Gerald McRaney, sent to eliminate programs therefore saving money and the school itself. Following long review, the administrator chooses to eliminate the music program led by the charming music teacher, Naomi Judd. At the time the administrator, or Cal, is unaware the teenage lady (Fern, Alison Pill) whom he is taking care of life has been changed by the amazing music program. At the final concert, before the music teacher must leave her job, the music program is saved by generous donations, and Cal sees Fern perform. There are many sub-themes throughout, including the highjinks of Jake Peterson (Andy Griffith).
