"The title is a play on The Beatles song A Day in the Life."

It is a goof, he is also heard breathing very heavily at the time he says he can't breathe, I added this to the errors section earlierNIKKKIN (talk) 21:42, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

- I think it is relevant to include this in the section describing the attempt at CPR. Obviously, the fact that he can use his muscles to move would imply that he could use those muscles to make respiratory motions as well. AlbertHall (talk) 14:22, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

- Where do you put discussions or analyses of episodes besides here? For example, plot inconsistencies. Everything isn't artistic license...I guess we could cite other websites that bring up these things. AlbertHall (talk) 19:24, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

That image isn't of a more critical element, the Pulse was a MacGuffin. Owen's attempted suicide illustrates his psychological issues in this episode better. --GracieLizzie (talk) 23:56, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- I disagree... Owen fully expected the Pulse to explode, or to absorb it's energy. It shows more elements relating to the entire episode (Owen, Parker, Pulse) then just an underwater face. — Edokter • Talk • 20:09, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Source for Maggie's last name?
I know she says it, but I had real difficulty hearing "Hopley" through the accent. The reason I looked this up was because it seriously sounded like she was saying "Harper", which is of course Owen's last name. IMDB doesn't give her a last name at all, so I was wondering how we were sure it was "Hopley". Personally, I think if it was "Hopley" then it was a real a slip the writers giving her a name that's so similar in sound to "Harper". They could've given her any name in the world, but chose to use one that can easily be misheard as "Harper", making it seem like there's a connection where there really isn't. If it was actually "Harper" as I first heard it (and a few people watching with me seemed to agree), then it might be something cool that comes up again (though I doubt it), but if it just sounds like "Harper", then it was a waste of a line. She'd have been better off with no last name given at all than one that sounds like his... Lurlock (talk) 04:26, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
