A Drink with Shane MacGowan is a 2001 autobiographical book of interviews between Shane MacGowan, lead singer and frontman for the Irish band The Pogues, and his journalist girlfriend, Victoria Mary Clarke. The book is divided into eight acts in various places in Ireland, England, and the United States, including the house he grew up in County Tipperary, a taxi, and Shannon Airport. The book is written in question and answer format.
MacGowan addresses such issues as his early childhood, musical influences, his early musical career and the history of the Pogues.
