A Delicate Balance is a 1973 film directed by Tony Richardson and starring Katharine Hepburn, Paul Scofield and Kate Reid, who was nominated for the 1974 Golden Globe Award for the Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for her performance as Claire. The film is based on a play A Delicate Balance by Edward Albee. A restored version of the film, produced by Ben Baker, was released in 2006.
