[edit] Thanks for your note

Thanks for your note A bright cold day in april. Unfortuantely I gave the wrong shortcut to explain why hidden links are expressly not encouraged. Please see WP:EGG. There is no way for the average reader to know that having the words "an episode" linked will take them to the page for an episode of Dr Who. Not everyone who comes to use wikiP will be versed in the wonderful power that links can give and if even one person can't tell where that link will go then it should be formatted so that eveyone can use it. Thanks for your time and happy editing. MarnetteD | Talk 18:50, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Just a little follow up. Per the MoS for television shows. We put italics around a multiple episode series like Life on Mars or a multipart story within a series like An Unearthly Child from the Doctor Who programme. But individual episodes within a series are given quote marks. Thus the ones around "Fear Her" should not have been removed (and believe me we went through a detailed discussion about this at the DW wikiproject some months ago so a consensus has been achieved) . Again the confusion stems from my mistakenly using External Links in my edit summary so my apologies. MarnetteD | Talk 18:59, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Test Card Girl.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Test Card Girl.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 02:32, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

I think the above may have been because you linked to Life On Mars instead of Life on Mars (TV series) in your fair use justification. I've tweaked the link. --Tony Sidaway 02:58, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
