Talk:A Baoa Qu (Gundam)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A Baoa Qu would do better placed in the Universal Century Locations page do to the fact the viewers could see the other relevent colonies/astoids/lunar settlements all in one place. Thats why the page exists in the first place. TomStar81 03:29, 14 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Major renovations, please
This page and its ilk could use some serious clean-up. Holy crap.
Let's start with the title. There are plenty of variant spellings on "A Bao A Qu" with the different components run together in different oddmented ways, but a quick Google test shows that not only is it an actual legend (which is not part of "Arabian Nights," contrary to popular belief) but it also has a particular spelling which happens to be the form I used here. Now, given this spelling, we can see that there is an existing article with that title; this article also concerns a creative work which references the legend in name, but only mentions the legend itself in passing.
In the following days, if nobody protests, I will implement the following changes:
- move the article A Baoa Qu to A Bao A Qu (space station)
- move the article A Bao A Qu to A Bao A Qu (album)
- write a new article concerning the legend itself, based on what can be found online
- create a disambiguation page linking to all of the aforementioned articles (and possibly merged into the preceding one)
Again, any suggestions for improvement are welcome; though if your suggestion is simply "leave the spelling as it is," you'd better have a very convincing argument to back it up. As it stands, I offer that we should respect the title of the original legend, even if Bandai didn't care to do so in establishing its spellings for the English version of Gundam. --Ozy 07:27, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
