[edit] Accident blackspots and other improvements

The road is generally considered to have several accident blackspots. There are signs on the road stating something like "1500 casualties in 5 years" (I'll check next time I head out that way)

The article could really do with some additions about this, and the improvements underway. Also any criticisms maybe? The fact that for an A road there are several places where the carriageway is reduced to one way traffic. I'm not really knowledgeable about the area to be able to do it Audigex (talk) 23:44, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Primary Destinations

The road does not actually go through/to Workington or Barrow, so why are these listed as primary destinations? Kayedj (talk) 12:25, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
