[edit] Move

Is Long Hill (Derbyshire) the complete A5004? If so, should it be moved to A5004 road to match the other road articles? Regan123 21:19, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

I suppose that Long Hill is strictly the A5004 from Buxton to Horwich End, and does not include the section of the A5004 through Whaley Bridge to where it joins the A6. However the article does describe the whole length of the A5004, so moving it to A5004 road would be fine by me (note that A5004 road does redirect to the article). The main reason that I named the article Long Hill is that the name predates the numbering and is in common usage. WhaleyTim 10:20, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

I think the general Wikipedia principle is that an article headline should explain the article. In this case it looks like the article should be at A5004 road but in this case I think it is 50-50... Regan123 16:15, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
