[edit] The service
The service is based at a site located on the A4 Bath Road at Brislington, to the South East of Bristol. Services are operated by First and around 600,000 journeys are made each year. There has been significant, and increasing, investment in the scheme by Bristol City Council.[2]
The journey time from the site to the city centre is approximately 20 minutes. There is a bus leaving approximately every 10 minutes from the car park. There are services between 06:45 and 19:09 on weekdays, until 20:21 on Thursdays and between 07:40 and 18:55 on Saturdays. There is no Sunday service. The car park closes at 19:45 Monday to Friday (except Thursday), 21:00 on Thursday and 19:45 on Saturday.[3]
[edit] Benefits
The council consider that this facility has reduced city centre congestion.[4]
