Adrian Glenn Abrams Jr. (born October 16, 1986 in Sherman, Texas) is an American college basketball player for the University of Texas. Abrams went to McNeil High School in Round Rock, Texas where he is the all-time scoring leader with 2,559 career points. He was a three-time district MVP and three-time first-team pick. Abrams averaged 27.6 points and 3.1 steals per game as a senior and lead his team to 35-4 record and lost in the 5A quarterfinals. In High school Abrams made the All-Academic Team. Abrams also played for the Austin Dawgs. His coach was Alfred "Elroy" McElroy who won the NBA/WNBA coach of the year!!!. While he played for the Austin Dawgs he played with Matt Brauer who now is a senior. He goes to Wichita State.

In his Freshman Year A.J. Abrams averaged 6.4 points and 3.0 assists making it to the Big 12 All-Freshman team. In his Sophomore Year he started all 35 games averaging 15.5 points and lead the team with .924 free throw percentage. He made All-Big 12 Honorable Mention with 3.4 three-point shots a game. In his Junior Year he is averaging 16.2 points per game and made the All-Big 12 2nd Team. Abrams also was the 28th player in UT's history to make 1000 career points.
