This page, AFC Basingstoke, is on my watchlist.
I'm new to Wikipedia -- from last Sunday 21 January 2007.
However, from what I've seen so far, AFC Basingstoke seems a perfectly reasonable subject, so I'm surprised by the proposal to DELETE.
Football (soccer) is NOT my 'thing'. I'm certainly no expert. But the contents look reasonable to me -- for Basingstoke's football club -- Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK -- 15 miles is north Winchester where I live.
Prior to finding this AFC Basingstoke page (by accident), I knew nothing of the specfic subject (AFC Basingstoke), so it could be all wrong.
I see if I can find out more -- with a view to updating the AFC Basingstoke page. But NO promises as too how soon!
