A.D. Calvo (Alejandro Daniel Calvo, Alex Calvo, b.1967) was born in Buenos Aires, and moved to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, when he was four. In 1974, his family relocated to the United States. Alex’s filmmaking and screenwriting efforts gained the praise and support of Oscar-nominated producers, Howard and Karen Baldwin, and Grammy-winning musician, Michael Bolton—all of whom were executive producers on his feature film debut, The Other Side of the Tracks, a character-driven ghost story, shot in Connecticut during the summer of 2007. He is currently in pre-production for a project yet to be announced.
