Talk:A.C. Cossor
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The move from Cossor House in Highbury to Harlow was part of the general decentralization encouraged by the government and facilitated through the New Towns. It was not greeted with universal acclaim. Highbury finally closed in 1962. Quite a few die-hards (including Pterre senior) were still 'commuting the wrong way', getting up at 6am to catch a company bus and rarely seeing home in daylight, into the 1970s.Pterre 19:41, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your recollections about Cossor, Pterre. Do you have any other information on the place that could be incorporated into the article? (A. Carty 20:35, 2 October 2007 (UTC))
