Found some inaccuracies, plus indications that this article was copied from here (or vice versa of course). In any case, I should have enough knowledge of Abe to be able to fix things up. - Kenwarren 14:53, Jul 17, 2004 (UTC)
Removed the following, which I can't substantiate:
- Merrit also had a passion for exotic plants, writing numerous articles on botany. Also discoverer, with S. Weir Mitchell, of psychedelic drugs.
He did collect plants used in witchcraft, and S. Weir Mitchell, M.D. did write about psychedelic drugs, but I can find no confirmation of a link between Merritt and Mitchell. - Kenwarren 15:56, Jul 17, 2004 (UTC)
Question. Anyone? My understanding was that most of Hannes Bok's collaborations with Merritt were posthumous. Calling him a frequent collaborator would be inaccurate I don't have anything in front of me now but could someone check the accuracy of the Bok statement and point to a list of collaborations?
