I disagree with this assesment. A.J. has not even ran a cup race or full Busch season. He seems hardly even important in NASCAR. He should receive low importance. Casey14 00:42, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Foyt is of mid importance because he is A.J. Foyt's grandson and because he drove in 3 Indy 500's. -Drdisque 01:29, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Importance can be different for each WikiProject. He is definitely Mid for American Open Wheel Racing and I agree with Casey that he is Low for NASCAR. Royalbroil 20:14, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Information in the sections regarding statistical information isn't sourced within this article for easier and quicker varifiable information. Images are needed. Thank you for updating the article in area in which I felt concerned with. I believe this article to be well written about A.J. Foyt IV's sports career, I was able to verify information, the article is well referenced, good grammar and spelling, and for the majority of the article maintains a NPOV. I feel this article meets the Good Article minimum and needs to be worked on further to maintain its Good Article status. The addition of a Biography section, adding to section lengths, and removal of comments like The crash broke Junqueira's back and blame was placed mainly on Foyt. in which flirts with a NPOV and is referenced from a sports writers opinion. The Personal life section could be merged into a newly created section for his Biography. The addition of images, section length, and references should the main focus momentarily. Use the article about Phil Simms as an example in improving this article if you need too. Jahnx (talk) 08:23, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
