The A. Vlaicu No. 1 was an aircraft built in 1909 by Aurel Vlaicu, a Romanian engineer.

After much work the aircraft was finished in 1909, and was tested for the first time in 1910. From the first flight the airplane had no need of changes. The plane was made by a single aluminum spar 10 meters long, which sustain the entire aircraft, that made it very easy to fly.

In 1910 the Romanian Air Force bought ten planes from the Cerchez & Co. factory. These planes where used in reconnaissance missions in World War I.
