A.M. Jain College in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India was opened in 1952, by the Shri S S Jain Educational Society. The college provides courses in the arts, sciences and information technology along with visual communication courses. The college's sprawling campus is located opposite the Meenambakkam Railway Station. A professional sports field holds division matches from time to time. The college is managed by the Jain Community Associations and is affiliated with Madras University.
The college has an evening section which conducts courses like B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, M.Sc(IT) and MA (Communication) etc.
In the Year 2006-2007 the college is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), India. A Separate placement cell will take care of the campus recruitments. Companies like Satyam, HP (Customer Care), HCL BPO visited for recruitment drive.
The college has two libraries,(one for evening section and other for day section) have very rich collection of books and journals. Annual day celebrations and sports meet are the big festivals.
