A. M. A. Azeez

A.M.A Azeez (Tamil ஏ. எம். ஏ. அஸீஸ்) (Oct 4, 1911 - Nov 23, 1973) was a pioneering Sri Lankan Moor civil servant and a educator. He was born in the city of Jaffna and had his education in institutions in that city. He was a life long friend of Hindu reformer Swami Vipulananda and was instrumental in opening charitable organizations to help poor Muslim residents of the east of the country. [1][2]
