Talk:A24 road (Great Britain)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I am thinking the article should be moved to A24 road (Great Britain). The numbering system extends throughout Great Britain. Laurel Bush 09:44, 20 May 2005 (UTC).

  • I disagree. Roads that are exclusively in England, Scotland or Wales should say where they are. Only cross-border roads need so say Britain. Also, be aware that somebody will change "Great Britain" to "United Kingdom, which is wrong anyway, but particularly wrong for roads since at least the low number are also used in Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. The only mitigating defence is that A24 is also an Autoroute in France and maybe an Autostrada in Italy. --Concrete Cowboy 13:53, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
