The A1 Team India is the Indian team of A1 Grand Prix, an international racing series. Its car was presented to the public in July 2005.

A1 Team India enters the third season of the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport, stronger and more determined than ever before. 22nd position in the first season was improved to 16th position in 2006/07. This season A1 Team India feels it can achieve podium finishes and even wins.
With new committed and involved investor support in the Spice Group, A1 Team India is on a strong wicket this year. Spice Group has a strong vision for the future of Motorsport in India and believes in the concept of the World Cup of Motorsport. Spice promoter, Ravi Chilukuri is A1 Team India’s seatholder this season. Spice Energy, AquaSP, a Swiss based water purification product, and Changepond.com also show their support for the A1 Team India, with their branding on the car.
With India’s speed maestro Narain Karthikeyan committed to drive for ‘the pride of his nation’ for the 2007/08 season, A1 Team India is confident of success this year. India looks to the talented and promising Parthiva Sureshwaren as its rookie driver.
Arena Motorsport continue to work with A1 Team India this year. The UK based team was founded by Mike Earle and is best know for competing in Formula 1 as the Onyx Formula 1 Team and in the British Touring Car Championship running the works Honda programme. Mike Earle’s experience lies not only in sports and touring cars, Earle is considered one of the most widely experienced team managers in recent decades. His teams have run in virtually every area of motorsport, including Formula 2, Formula 3000, Formula 3 and even Formula 1.
Yohann Setna has been involved with A1Team India since the first season and stands as Chief Operating Officer this year. Daljit Singh as Chief Marketing Officer and Aashika Abraham is the teams Media Manager[1].
