My name is Hrafn and I live in Iceland. The name means Raven. The first place I lived in, although at that time not yet as an independent individual, was the city of Freiburg im Üchtland in Switzerland. The place in which I learned to speak was Edinburgh, Scotland. After I discovered Wikipedia two days ago (this is written in the wee hours of Monday, August 8, 2005) I haven't really been able to leave. You see I totally get the spirit of open source: "Tolerate others to steal from thee, thusly steal from them!" My biggest interests are all things technical, all things environmentprotectionalistical, and not least all things environmentprotectionalisticaltechnical. I also adore the English language for its short, streamlined words shaped by the laziness of generations. Laziness is ultimately a very underrated resource. It was the main incentive for every major invention. Long live inventions (and the outstanding psychological prerequisites shared by the superhumans achieving them!)

[edit] Contributions

My contributions to the English Wikipedia:

  • Battery electric vehicle: Minor corrections and additions.
  • Methane: An addition about an estimate of the quantity of methane sources hidden in the ocean and the likely effect on the climate, should those deposits one day be released.
  • Lithium: Information concerning its price.
  • Alsace: Clarification of a few points concerning its recent history.
  • Wheel motor (New article I'm working on).
