Añelo is a department located in the east of Neuquén Province, Argentina.

The Department limits with Pehuenches Department at north, Rio Negro Province at east, Confluencia Department at southeast, Zapala Department at South-southeast, Picunches Department at southweast and Loncopué Department at west.

The major production of the are grapes mostly used by the production of wines a new bussines with wineries such as Bodegas del fin del mundo or the Schroeder family winery both located in San Patricio del Chañar.

The Museo del Sitio is located in this department, a Mapuche museum featuring cultural life and a graveyard.
