This is the logo for the Abercrombie & Fitch brand. It is under liscenced protection under it, and the image is in low resolution. It was retrieved from abercrombie.com.

The image is used in the A&F template because it is used to represent the company on a worldwide basis. It is recognized and is a familiar symbol associated with the Abercrombie & Fitch brand. The same goes for the brand template of A&F (it shows to the reader what the logo of the brand officially looks like.
