9th and 9th is a small retail and residential neighborhood in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is located 2 blocks East of Liberty Park, the area gets its name from the intersection of 900 South and 900 East.
[edit] 2007 Renovation
During the summer of 2007, 9th and 9th received sidewalk and street improvements. Kinetic sculpture art displays inspired by the 9 Muses of Greek myth [1] were installed on all 4 corners of the intersection. The sculptures were created by Troy Pillow.
The building on the North-West corner is currently being remodeled.

- Tower Theatre - Historic theatre built in 1921. [2] Currently operated by The Salt Lake Film Society. It is a venue for the Sundance Film Festival every January.
