AWM Caption: Sydney, NSW. c. 1939. Supermarine Seagull V (Walrus) amphibian aircraft, serial number A2-7, of No. 9 (Fleet Cooperation) Squadron RAAF embarked on a modified Leander class cruiser of the RAN being positioned on the catapult fitted to the ship and used for launching the aircraft.
