Thank you for removing this from the Jinkanpo article:

The pollution had become so much of a health concern for the American residents that if they showed signs of adverse health effects, the U.S. military authorities allowed them to leave early (usually servicemembers are stationed at the base for a tour of three years). No residents accepted this option.

I don't know who added it, but I know my family accepted that option! We left six months before our three years was up. Mike H. Fierce! 23:34, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
