I have replied to you question on my talk page. i am willing to approach verifying this information with an open mind. It will take a few days, however. I will keep you apprised of progress. Perhaps you can help--are you aware of any modern references in reliable guides to the historical liteature over the last 50 years that refer to its reputation?
