[edit] Track Records
Hello,
I reverted your change to the Track Records page, where you removed the statement that the Two Virgins album was issued on Apple, distributed by Transatlantic, rather than Track. This is something that keeps getting reverted back and forth on the Track page, and also the Two Virgins page. I have put a request on both articles' talk pages asking for anyone to provide a reference to justify why they are making these changes. See especially Talk:Unfinished Music No.1: Two Virgins.
I think the explanation on the Track Records page sounds most likely: Track did the cut, since their matrix number appears on it, but Transatlantic distributed it. In any event, it definitely bore the Apple label.
On the other hand, the Two Virgins page has explicit information about EMI cutting the record and getting paid for it. There is no citation as to where this info comes from. I'm sure references can be found for any of these claims, but they need to be quoted in the articles, instead of just deleting and re-inserting over and over. Well, that's my opinion anyway. Thanks for listening.
