96.4 Eagle Radio is an Independent Local Radio station in the Surrey and North Hampshire area of England owned by the UKRD Group. The radio station, based in Guildford, Surrey, was the brainchild of Mike Powell, previously the Managing Director of Surrey and Hampshire's County Sound Radio.

Peter Gordon (PG), the current breakfast show presenter and programme controller, launched 96.4 The Eagle at 7:45am on 4 January 1996, with the words "Hey... I've landed.". The first song was 'Uptown Girl' by Billy Joel.

The station is mainly aimed at a family audience with chart songs being played at least 3-4 times an hour. There is also a good mix of older songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Music features include "The Mystery 5 at 9". In its broadcast area its listenership outstrips London rivals like Capital 958 and Heart, relying on good local news and travel information.

In early 2007, the station was renamed Eagle Radio to move into the new digital era.

Eagle Radio was the first radio station in the UK to run the infamous "Fugitive" promotion in 2001.
