Hi. Your page title change and subsequent changes were completely incorrect. The ONLY title for this game is simply "9" and such "9 (computer game)" was the correct page title for the game. Though the game is frequently called "The Last Resort," this is not in any way, shape or form part of the legitimate title of the game, and wikipolicy is to have the page title reflect the actual subject name when possible. Please revert your changes as soon as possible. Thanks. Pacian 04:58, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
- Although the front cover of the box simply says '9', you'll notice that "The Last Resort" is displayed as a title on the back of the box. In addition to this, many of the files are named "TLR" indicating that the game actually shares two names, "9" and "The Last Resort". (Keep in mind this is a fairly arthouse game, so the labelling of simply "9" possibly reflects that. Since every game site I've seen calls it "9: The Last Resort", I felt compelled for Wikipedia to follow suit. I think I summed up the explanation about the title fairly well in the actual article under the "Title" section.
- Also, name change aside, I believe I contributed a tremendous amount to this article which was little more than a stub [1] when I found it, and I am the only person to make any significant edits since then. I do not appreciate being told that "all my subsequent changes were completely incorrect." —EatMyShortz 10:01, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
- I at no time said "ALL" of your subsequent changes were incorrect. Don't read words that weren't there. The official title of this game is "9"; twenty million people COULD call it "The Last Resort" but that doesn't make it the official title. The Internet Movie Database title entry is simply "9" 1. No length of straw man argument will change that very simple fact. Please make the reversions as requested. I'd prefer not to have this escelate to mediation. Pacian 16:48, 23 October 2005 (UTC)
