91st Street is an abandoned local station on the New York City Subway's IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line. The station was in use from the opening of the subway in 1904 until February 1959, when the adjacent 96th Street station was lengthened to the south, providing a new entrance only 100 feet (30 m) away from 93rd street. The station is still clearly visible from passing trains.
