Well done. Whether it's politically correct or not, registered users do tend to be given more credence than "anons". Also, anonymous IP addresses are open to claims of vandalistic use if they are shared by many users due to the configurations applied by their ISPs.
As far as drifting out of refereeing, that only occurs when you get seriously tested by certain footballers and teams you may come across, perhaps in response to controversial decision similar to those being discussed in this thread. Consider whether you yourself could take all the flak being handed out to Clattenburg, or that experienced by Rob Styles. Yes, you too could be the recipient one morning of a letter from your county FA, asking for your views on X incident (however piddling it seemed to you) in Saturday's match, which team Y had sent them a letter of complaint about. It can happen at all levels of refereeing, not just Clattenburg's.
You may deduce that I have been the recipient of such a letter, and you'd be right. Don't count on total back-up from the "powers" is all I'll say on that. Best wishes. Ref (chew)(do) 21:33, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
