[edit] Your edit to Shane Byrne
Your recent edit to Shane Byrne (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. Regarding the article Shane Byrne (TV), I have to tell you that "go to [website]" doesn't constitute a valid article; to the contrary, an article containing nothing but a link to an outside website is subject to immediate deletion as spam. If you want to Wikipedia to have an article about this person, you should create one in your own words - in other words don't copy it from a website, unless the copyright holder permits it to be used on Wikipedia under the terms of the GFDL license. - Mike Rosoft 09:35, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rory Gallagher
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Rory Gallagher. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Thank you. ww2censor 01:51, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
