[edit] DNS servers
If these servers are notable, then write articles about them. Comparison articles attract heavy amounts of "me too" spam. AlistairMcMillan (talk) 01:24, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Friendly suggestion
Instead of making a case for this content in edit summaries, why not write your argument on Talk:Comparison_of_DNS_server_software? --- tqbf 06:31, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

- Respectfully, there are 2 editors (at least) that appear ready to revert your changes to this page. If you're not going to take the time to make a case for them on Talk:Comparison_of_DNS_server_software, they aren't going to stick. Why are you spending time on edits that aren't going to stick? Why not make your case on the talk page, so we can help capture your thoughts in the article? --- tqbf 06:36, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

- FWIW, I'm at my third revert on this page for the day, so I'm done for now, but Alistair surely isn't, and I'll be back tomorrow. Would love to hear what you have to say on talk, though, instead of edit warring. --- tqbf 06:38, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Heads up on three-revert rule
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Comparison of DNS server software. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors.
I dunno if you're new or not, and so if this is patronizing, I apologize.
