[edit] Pienza

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, one or more of the external links you added to the page Pienza do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.—Ian Spackman 21:54, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Pienza. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.—Ian Spackman 19:07, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please note the message when you edit the Pienza page which looks like this:

    ==========================={{NoMoreLinks}}===============================
DO NOT ADD MORE LINKS TO THIS ARTICLE. WIKIPEDIA IS NOT A COLLECTION OF
LINKS. If you think that your link might be useful, do not add it here,
but put it on this article's discussion page first or submit your link
to the appropriate category at the Open Directory Project (www.dmoz.org)
and link back to that category using the {{dmoz}} template.

          Links that have not been verified WILL BE DELETED.
See Wikipedia:External links and Wikipedia:Spam for details
    ============================{{NoMoreLinks}}=============================

The instructions should be clear: please follow them.

Furthermore, when adding your link to the page you silently removed another. That appears to amount to vandalism. If you wish to remove that link, then explain your reasons on the talk page and/or in your edit summary. —Ian Spackman (talk) 18:37, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
