I don't really have an opinion on the subject, beyond thinking that it's of course going to lead to biased articles if everyone who shares a similar point of view is blocked from editing. If you think there is a problem worth bringing to the attention to the Wikimedia Foundation, you might want to send an email to info-en@wikimedia.org.
