pls explain your reasons in the talk page before putting a tag on a section.. That section is very factual and encyclopedic and doesn't make any political statements. Baristarim 20:08, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

- Ok.. First of all, all claims have to be cited.. This is not a merry go round.. In the article about Turkish Armed Forces, its influence in Turkish politics has been discussed. And lastly, any reasonable person will be able to figure out that TAF is a powerful political institution when they see that it has staged three coups and a semi coup in 1998.. Pls don't add POV claims... This is not an ideological battleground, the section is very factual.. As far as the trust issue in concerned, it is cited and is supported by many public surveys on the subject.. Baristarim 20:21, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
- I have replied there as well..Baristarim 20:22, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

- BTW, past coups wouldn't necessarily imply continued interference.. Now, I am NOT saying that there is no interference TODAY.. I know that there is, but pls don't forget that an encyclopedic article has to be factual and it has to have a formal style.. That section is extremely factual.. Military dictatorship with a facade of democracy is the POV of some people, therefore it is not NPOV. It is not an academic argument. As far as the trust thing is concerned, it is cited.. As I said, the reader, anyone with an IQ of more than 50, who reads that there were 3.5 coups in the last forty years will know that there is/has been interference. Besides there are many articles relating to these subjects. This article is a factual article used to describe Turkey..regards..Baristarim 20:34, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
