- What Naconkantari said pretty much covers it, copyvio tags are a good thing :) -- Tawker 00:02, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to Bernard Trevor Matthews

[edit] Your edit to Daz Sampson
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Daz Sampson, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. TomPhil 23:40, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
Just because you give a reference to something does not make it true or encyclopedic. Whether or not Daz Sampson looks like Ian Huntley is clearly point of view and unencyclopedic. It is also potentially libel. Edits claiming that Daz looks like Huntley have been removed many times before from this article. They are not appropriate. TomPhil 09:36, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- I've blocked you for a week for continually inserting those inappropriate edits. I'm reasonably sure I've warned you about this before (when you had a different IP), but even if I didn't, you were warned enough. Please learn your lesson. If you promise to stop doing this, I will unblock. Otherwise, the block stands. --Deskana (talk) 21:03, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Deskana
Deskana, I think what you actually said was that editors should not make claims about Sampson looking like Huntley unless there were valid sources for this - and that is exactly what I did, writing so as not to express a view and giving sources. I first suggested the other editor discuss it on the talk page and he did not. Then I suggested he went to RFC and he did not. So why have you banned me without any warning? 86.6.207.111 21:13, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- You were warned. Look in the section above. Regardless of what I may or may not have said in the past, I agree with TomPhil that it is not encyclopedic. What is the encyclopedic purpose of mentioning that he may or may not look like Ian Huntley. It doesn't enrich the article at all or help people know about him as a person. So there you are. Argue all you want, it's not going in the article. --Deskana (talk) 03:35, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- OK, I understand what you are saying, but what have I been banned for? 86.6.207.111 17:36, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
