[edit] Re: Paras of Nepal
I am currently looking into your edits regarding Paras. Currently, I have only reinstated the Allegation of assault section, and, as it provides a citation from the BBC (one of the most highly regarded English based news sources), I would appreciate it if you refrain from removing it for a second time (this is the text that I reinserted: Alleged assault a policeman: Paras has also been accused of assaulting "a policeman with the butt of his automatic weapon after being stopped for drinking and driving." [1])
At a later time, I will look through the links you removed, and possible reinstate them. Do not worry, I will create a section on the talk page and cite you (well, your ip address) as an opponent to the articles. I think that others should have an opportunity to determine whether or not certain articles are POV. --(Mingus ah um 21:23, 30 May 2006 (UTC))
- I have reinstated this statement with a citation to one of the most reputable English based news sources (please do not remove this again):
"Street protests by students followed, with over 600,000 protestors signing a petition demanding that Paras be stripped of his title. The police investigated the incident, but no actions were taken by the police or the government. [2]" --(Mingus ah um 21:52, 30 May 2006 (UTC))
- I have reinstated sourced information into the introduction (two sources, one of them is the BBC... rephrase at will, but do not simply erase the information). I have also reinstated the fact that Paras was present during Dipendra's assault. This should not be controversial, for I did not add anything about conspiracy theories. If you have any problems with my edits, discuss them here, on the Paras talk page or on my talk page. (Mingus ah um 21:52, 30 May 2006 (UTC))
