This message is regarding the article Nonsense. This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Sango123 (talk) 21:07, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] how we find it
It's easy, go to a page and click on history. Then pick and edit and click on diff. You'll see the difference between the previous version and the current one. That makes vandalism very easy to find and revert. If you register and get a watchlist going, it's even easier. -GTBacchus(talk) 21:10, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
- There are also other tools to assist in combatting vandalism. Please take the text below into serious consideration. Vandalism is not tolerated at Wikipedia, and continuing to do so will earn you a block. Please consider contributing constructively from now on, and take a look at some helpful links if you'd like. Thanks, Sango123 (talk) 21:23, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Please stop
It's good that you're curious, but please don't vandalize pages -- it hurts the encyclopedia, and damages people's hard work. Feel free to ask on my talk page any questions you have about how the encyclopedia works. As to your question, we "patrol" all recent edits, checking to see which ones are vandalism, as GTBacchus said. Now that we've seen you vandalize, we're watching your edits especially closely. So please start contributing positively. PEace, delldot | talk 21:19, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for agreeing to stop! We're glad to have you contributing positively! Let me know if you have any more questions. Peace, delldot | talk 21:27, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
- I just noticed you asked where the dif button is. They're on Special:recent changes and on our watchlists (which you get if you create an account. We also use the page histories.
