[edit] Correcting wikilinks

In Charlie and the Chocolate Factory you corrected Television to television. Although your way appears more correct, the actual article has a Capitol letter, per WP:Name. By correcting this as you did, you linked to a redirect, which is not the best practice. A better way to make this kind of correction would be to "pipe" it; eg. [[Television|television]], where the part before the pipe is the wikilink article title, and the part after it is what is displayed on the screen. Jerry lavoie 23:31, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

My mistake. My problem with pipes is that I often forget which way round they go. Thanks for the advice though. 86.17.124.125 21:27, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
