[edit] Politics of Northern Ireland

This is one of a group of templates for the Politics of Northern Ireland, stop interfering with it unless you get consensus first on the talk page.--Padraig (talk) 23:14, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

All the UK politics use the Royal Arms, so Northern Ireland should follow, using the arms as used in that part of the Realm.

Stop edit warring on this issue, this is the agree symbol for these templates, if you want propose changing it then take it to the talk page.--Padraig (talk) 23:26, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

There is no agreement that I see. Coat of arms are always used in politics templates.

[edit] 3rr warning

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Template:Politics of Northern Ireland. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. --John (talk) 00:11, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Coat of arms are always used in politics templates, so I selected the Royal Arms as used by the political institutions in Northern Ireland.

Where is this ruling that coats of arms are always use in politics templates, can you provide a link to this ruling or is that just your opinion, changes such as this can only be made after consensus is agreed on the talk pages.--Padraig (talk) 00:23, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
Regardless of how right you think you are, continuing to edit-war will get you a block, make no mistake about it. Everybody thinks they are right and that is why we have procedures for reaching consensus. --John (talk) 00:44, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
