[edit] Game engines
A couple of points: (1) Just because games have similar mechanics does not mean that they necessarily use discernably similar game engine layers. (2) Adaptations/ports of entire games are just that: they are basically derivatives of the entire game, rather than different top-layer content that uses a common engine layer. The one case where you are arguably correct involves Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, but bear in mind that game engines really weren't really a well-discussed concept in the 1980s. It's better to say that they share common mechanics. — TKD::Talk 22:59, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Please stop changing images to non-existent links. Thanks. — TKD::Talk 19:20, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Please also stop adding engines without citing a reliable source. Many of your additions appear to be for old games for which a game engine would be anachronistic, or for games whose mechanics are dissimilar. — TKD::Talk 19:27, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Please stop
Please stop adding dubious game engine information without a reliable source. Please stop attempting to add image links, as you have done here. As you can tell, they do not work on Wikipedia. Offensive edit summaries like this are not tolerated. If you continue in this manner, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If you wish to contribute constructively in a civil manner, we welcome that. Pagrashtak 19:53, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, but I did not know the images work on fuckerpedia.
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Super Mario Bros. 3, you will be blocked from editing. Pagrashtak 20:02, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Super Mario World, you will be blocked from editing. Pagrashtak 20:03, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. —DerHexer (Talk) 21:53, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
