[edit] Spa Valley Railway Re-opening Campaign and references etc.
I note your recent edits on this issue across a number of related articles. Whilst you have some support from me on the basic fact that items should be referenced and that the articles should not be a forum for the re-opening, I would also add a word of caution. The issue of references can be applied to much of the existing subject matter, so getting pedantic over this issue just for the re-opening campaign part of the article needs tempering. Much of the existing substance in the article is unreferenced, so there is also an argument for deleting that as much as for the re-opening campaign. As for the issue of the re-opening campaign, I would agree that it occupies a disproportionate amount of the articles, and needs some editing to reduce it. However, removing it entirely is also wrong, as it is relevant, and in terms of precedence, there are many other aricles which are far worse. As an example, the [Docklands Light Railway] is almost 50% about the past, and 50% about the future plans, which is way over the top. Olana North (talk) 07:24, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
