[edit] Not creating a userid?
Hi - Any particular reason you're not creating a userid? It makes any number of things more convenient (like watchlist). No pressure, but just curious. -- Rick Block (talk) 01:39, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- I've asked the owner of Sinebot to consider a change so it recognizes "xxx ~~~~~" (which is how I assume you're signing your comments) as a signature. He basically said no. If you want to avoid Sinebot tagging your posts, I suppose you could type "Matt ~~~~" (which will add your current IP address to your sig). If you get a userid, you can sign your posts on talk pages with 4 tildes (and your IP address is hidden except in extremely unusual circumstances - making you actually more anonymous). -- Rick Block (talk) 05:45, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
