[edit] Paul McGarr
Why do you refuse to respond to my requests for discussion on your attempts to change the Paul McGarr entry? --Mia-etol (talk) 18:17, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
I have requested other editors to adjudicate in this dispute. I disagree with your contention that it is a purely factual question. Your implication is that he neglects his job, which is a derogatory comment. These are not allowed according to the Wikipedia guidelines. --Mia-etol (talk) 18:45, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
If you have no experience of his teaching you should avoid making any comment that might be taken as reflecting on his teaching. In addition, the Wikipedia guidelines say that all articles of living persons should adopt a neutral point of view (NPOV). It seems to me that your comments breach this.
I have requested the opinion of other editors and until they have responded I will refrain from deleting your comments. --Mia-etol (talk) 19:27, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- If you can show that Paul McGarr takes an inordinate amount of time off to engage in political activities I'll withdraw my objection to your change. --Mia-etol (talk) 12:49, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 20:12, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
