[edit] Hungarian players
Hi, I've noticed that many Hungarian players has "alternative" surnames (e.g. see Sarosi/Stefancsics, Hidegkuti/Kaltenbrunner, Budai/Bednárik, Orth/Faludi, Palotás/Poteleczky...), I don't understand what they stands for. What's the original surname? Why they have more than one? Can you clear this situation, please? --necronudist (talk) 20:45, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
- So, in my examples, original surnames are Stefancsics, Kaltenbrunner, Bednarik, Faludi and Poteleczky, later "hungarized" in Sarosi, Hidegkuti, Budai, Orth and Palotas. Thank you very much for the explanation! --necronudist (talk) 10:27, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Hi! Many thanks for your help with the correct names of the Hungarian football teams. According to your info I now changed the name to "Hungária FC". The reason why I added "Hungária FC MTK Budapest" is from German wikipedia see here: [1] see under "Namensänderungen" 1926. So I was confused. Kind regards Doma-w (talk) 09:52, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
