[edit] Deletion Procedure for Wikipedia

This message is in regard to the Wikipedia article, Thai Airways flight 358, which you have been editing of late. Please note, the article has been formally nominated for deletion. This procedure, outlined at WP:AfD, is a process of establishing consensus as to whether or not to keep the article, delete the article, or merge its contents elsewhere. You are certainly encouraged to contribute at this page, explaining why you think the article should be retained. However, until this consensus-building discussion is completed, it is against Wikipedia policy to delete the notice on the article page explaining the deletion prompt. Since you have attempted this three times, I thought you should be made aware of why is not permitted. Please refrain from removing the deletion notice from the article page, but feel free to comment on the deletion discussion page. Thank you. Sacxpert 06:13, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Discuss changes on the talk pages.

You obviously feel that this should be in Thai Airways flight 358, and this should be in China Airlines Flight 120. Rather than edit warring over this, please take these issues to the respective article talk pages. Flyguy649 talk contribs 15:00, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please read up on policies

You are currently reverting changes on Mayday (TV series) that are for good reason. The link you keep restoring as mentioned in the edit summaries is at the bottom of the page. Please take a look and you'll see it's there. There is no reason to put a link to the website in the main section especially if it's offering free downloads of episodes. That is potentially illegal activity that Wikipedia does not allow in the lead section of an article. Since the website does contain valuable information though it will still have a link in the external links section. Now please stop reverting these edits, they are for good reason. Xtreme racer 20:45, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

I would also suggest if you are the owner of the website in question to please stop adding it as this would be a conflict of interest and such activity is prohibited on Wikipedia. Xtreme racer 05:17, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Last warning

This is your last warning. If you continue to revert changes without discusing them, as you are doing at Mayday (TV series), you will be blocked for violation of the Three revert rule. Please discuss the matter on the talk page instead. Thank you. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 20:26, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 13:34, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] September 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from Talk:Main Page. Please be careful when editing pages and do not remove content from Wikipedia without a good reason, which should be specified in the edit summary. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. * Aillema 13:32, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

[edit] Ho Chi Minh City ITC Inferno

Hi. I've nominated Ho Chi Minh City ITC Inferno, an article you worked on, for consideration to appear on the Main Page as part of Wikipedia:Did you know. You can see the hook for the article at Template talk:Did you know#Articles created on September 18, where you can improve it if you see fit. Cheers! --199.71.174.100 01:25, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Thank you. When may the article be on did you know? Thats honour for me

Probably tomorrow. But not every nominated item gets on the main page. You may want to go to Template talk:Did you know#Articles created on September 18 to see the discussion, and maybe work on the 'hook' there. Admins there always ask for inline referencing. Hope this helps. --199.71.174.100 20:32, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] International reaction

I am shocked to learn of the big fire that took the lives of so many innocent people in Ho Chi Minh City. Let us express our sympathy to the families of the victims.."

May I ask whose quote is this? --199.71.174.100 20:40, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] References for the death toll

I've reverted your edit regarding the death toll. You typed in "100", with "http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/2374415.stm" in the edit summary. However, it was only an estimate by the media as reported by the BBC on Thursday, 31 October, 2002. The BBC report actually used in the article as a reference, "http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/2384629.stm", was the update, dated Friday, 1 November, 2002, and it says "more than 60".

In future, please put the external link to references in the article, instead of just in the edit summary. Thanks. --199.71.174.100 16:40, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] DYK: Ho Chi Minh City ITC Inferno

Updated DYK query On 23 September 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Ho Chi Minh City ITC Inferno, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

-- Thank you for your contribution. It should be featured on the Main Page for the next few hours :) GeeJo (t)(c) • 09:57, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] main page talk page

Please stop posting news sites on the main page talk page. Appropriate sources should be discussed on article talk pages not the main page's talk page. And please stop doing this. You have been ignored multiple times and continuing will just get your edits reverted by others. 128.227.206.169 21:09, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi. Could you justify your reason for your prod? I see this account has a history of vandalism. Is your prod a hoax? This event can be reliably sourced, and did happen. Please discuss your prod on the talkpage. Thanks. ~AH1(TCU) 18:41, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
