[edit] Buttevant / Canon Sheehan
Hi. Please don't yell - folks are just trying to help, and we're all willing to hear a calm request for space on an article. Cheers! BD2412 T 14:32, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
Like I said, I like what you've added to the Buttevant article. However, it needs work hence the 'cleanup' tag. Please leave it there. Please also consult Wikipedia:Guide_to_writing_better_articles and Wikipedia:Civility. If you need to discuss this further, please use the article's talk page as the main article isn't the place. Feel free to use my own talk page. Thanks - "Idiot Person" aka Ali-oops✍ 15:03, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
- Again, please leave the cleanup tag. There are issues which need addressing. It shouldn't be a personal affront or anything. You've done excellent work to-date - Ali-oops✍ 17:53, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
- Responded to your question on my talk page over there. - Ali-oops✍ 18:13, 20 December 2005 (UTC)

- I took a look and there's two Ballybeg photos up there already. Have you other ones to add/upload? If you're having trouble uploading them, email them to me & I can add them - Ali-oops✍ 13:44, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Talk:Roman Catholic Church
Regarding your post on the talk page and your use of the word "fascist", please review WP:NPA and WP:CIVIL. Also, you may want to review Fascism, as you used the term incorrectly. KHM03 23:33, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Buttevant images
Hi there,
I found the images in question. They'll need to be uploaded to WP, and the copyright is a bit strange. I'd like to crop the overlaid text from the bottom of the images & get a specific consent from the photographer. I've just written them a message, copied below. I'll let you know when they get back to me!
From: Alison <cooties at mac.com> Date: 1 March 2006 14:16:15 GMT To: btmcelherron at postmaster.co.uk Subject: Ballybeg images / your website Hi, Re. http://cloghmore.bravepages.com/ Recently, another editor on Wikipedia asked if some of your images could be uploaded to Wikipedia for the Buttevant article; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buttevant The following images are of interest; http://cloghmore.bravepages.com/cork/ballybeg3.jpg http://cloghmore.bravepages.com/cork/ballybeg4.jpg I notice the following copyright notice on your webpage. "Most of the photographs used on this web site are the property of Brian T McElherron. Please feel free to use them for non-commercial purposes and for private study. Please acknowledge any use with a link to this web site." Would it be okay if I took the two above images, cropped the text overlay and uploaded them to Wikipedia? Of course, I would include the above message, as well as citing your name and website URL. Wikipedia is a non-commercial, non-profit community website. Let me know what you think! Best Regards, -- Alison

- Done! I've obtained permission from the photographer & uploaded the images to the article. Feel free to hack around the format as you like. Here's the email I got from Brian;

for stellar work on Irish articles. Well done! - Ali-oops✍ 14:35, 14 March 2006 (UTC) |
I never award barnstars to anonymous editors as a rule, but your diligence in editing the Buttevant articles amongst others has been phenomenal. I strongly recommend you create an account, set up a user page and gain some recognition within the community for your excellent work!! - Ali-oops✍ 14:35, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
